Monkey See

Samantha got a red rock-candy sucker at a birthday party.  After a while of her licking it we turned around to find this.
Yes, that's a red spoon.

Do you want to build a snowman?

I said those words and realized that I'll never be able to ask that question to my girls without a tune in my head.  Ugh.  So sad.  Oh well, I just need to let it go.
GAH!

Oreos, carrots and grapes!  I'm sure the squirrels were thrilled.

Then I built her an ice-castle.

She added braids and boobs to the snowman and named her Ana.

After the socks in the tub, I bought her some snow mittens...the ones she was using may or may not have been Charlotte's size.
How is she this big already?

Then we discovered a PERFECT sledding hill on the townhouse property.  Seriously, it's perfect.  And private!  When she gets old enough she's going to have so much fun playing on this hill with her sister and friends.

We returned for a break in the castle.
She played in her kingdom of isolation.  She looked like the Queen.

Poop Scribbles

The exersaucer used to be her "poop-chair."  Whenever we put her in there, she'd poop within minutes.  So exact, it was, that Sam literally thought that's what it was called.  A Poop Chair.  Now that she's too big for it.  Whenever we need her to poop (Sorry Charlotte, you've inherited the Hilger-gut) we give her a notepad and pen.  Within minutes, we'll have poop.
The legs!

We call these her poop scribbles.

Snow days

After Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks, January and February really drag on.  Luckily, there are always the much prayed for snow days!
She made 10 trips from the main level, up the stairs and to the bathroom with a bucket full of snow to accomplish this.

Pouring water to make holes.

I came in later to find this.  She was in the bath-tub, therefore she needed to be naked.  I found her digging for her swim-suit because part of the tub was wet.  I suggested a towel and to keep her undies on.  Her mittens had already soaked through so some fuzzy socks helped for a bit longer.
Two high school classmates of mine got married and had a boy the exact same moth as we had Sam.  They both go to Kindergarten together and they just moved in across the street.  He's shy and Sam kinda intimidates him.  But he heard that Aiden was coming over and braved Sam's company for the prospect of playing with another boy.

This one loved watching...note the backwards hat.

The second day!

Those signing books have gotten over 20 years of use!  Amanda was the first.

Sam's brown-haired-taller twin came over to play.

"Take a picture of just me!" she said...and then bolted with a belly laugh.
'Sup, mom.

Smaller's faces

# 2 has a new "face" too.  She loves to do with while nursing.  She goes back and forth between putting her foot in my face and doing her new thing.
Do what, Mom?

GRIN
Wait, what?  Not that?  Did I forget to pray?

Oh, wait, I know what you want.

Note the eyebrows.

Biggger's faces

#'1 loves making faces, and has taught #2 to look immediately at the camera and fall into a ball of giggles.

She thought this was hilarious.

So she had to do it again.

This is her newest "trick".  She loves showing it to strangers and anyone who comes over, but they never know what she's doing.

Did you catch it?  I have to tell people- "Watch her teeth."  This trick won't be available for much longer, as the hole is already filling up quickly with some pretty crooked chompers!
