My dad told me when he was a teacher it was the same way. If a kid did something bad that warranted detention or something else where the parents had to be notified, the parents thought that my dad was just being mean or something. How frustrating!
Jeremy's mom has taught for over 30 years and her #1 problem today is parents who think it is the teacher's fault that their child is rude, disruptive, uneducated and a failure.
