8 months

Oh Baby, Baby Baby!
You are so easy, but are giving us a run for our money with naps these days.  Your top two teeth are on their way in.  We've figured out some solids for ya and you love everything if it sweetened with a fruit.
You have just started the rocking back and forth on your hands and knees.  It's about time!  Your funky butt-in-the-air-with-head-on-the-ground-scoot and superman pose is hilarious, but not so good for pooping.
Always poop problems with my kiddos.
You are in 12 month clothes, size 4 diapers and will probably never grow hair due to everyone constantly rubbing your bald head.

Mommy on 3 hrs of sleep!

This freaks your daddy and me out. You sleep FACE DOWN.  Charlotte slept with blankets on her face.  WHY??

Snow

Jeremy wanted a board game playing day for his birthday, so I took the girls across the street to go sledding!  It's on top of the most perfect hill...where we might build someday??

Charlotte made about 11.

Solids, Vomit and Poop

We tried solids again in December when G turned 6 months.  After trying baby oatmeal we ended up in the ER.  She was lethargic, GREEN and puking foamy bile non-stop.  Then, at 1am she stopped (I took this picture to text Jeremy)

We tried baby rice.
Same thing.  I had to give her a suppository to stop the vomiting.
So, she's on the paleo diet right now.  And constipated.
Not even kidding.
With every new food I hold my breath.  So far, all veggies and meat are good. No idea when I'll have the courage to try grains again!

She's Snazzy

Samantha's Christmas gift from Amanda was a trip to Once Upon a Child for some clothes.
Because this is what she was down to...too small shirts and tights and nothing that really made an outfit.
Obviously it wasn't bothering her!
I told her that she needed some shirts.  She came home with 16.  She wears a uniform to school.  Pretty sure she'll wear each one twice before it's summer!  Oh well, Samantha was in HEAVEN and loves posing to show me her snazzy outfits.  Not kidding you, she was on repeat, saying the word "snazzay" every 3 seconds in different voices and inflections.
She was so concerned about being "snazzay" for Amanda before she picked her up.  This was her outfit (vest credit goes to the famous Fairy Godmother Michelle)

The leggings lasted about 30 seconds before she decided they were too tight.

She calls this her "Amanda shirt."
I SO remember Amanda and Lucy having "Kimmy shirts' (always brown)!  Love it.
