Even though I've been back in Nebraska for 8 months, it took until last weekend for me to see some high school friends who lived in town. That's eight months of canceling due to illness, ER visits, holidays, or sleepless nights.
But it was worth the wait!
Four mommies, seven kiddos, no naps, + puppy chow = an excellent play date that deserves a sequel.
Here are the highlights:

Granted, it was only 20 minutes (a change in the pavement woke her up)- but she fell asleep with minimal protest. This, of course, is after I'd complained about how she never falls asleep in the car.
